Description & Features
James Madison Test of Critical Thinking is a powerful assessment designed to evaluate the in-depth critical thinking ability of middle school students, high school students, and adults. This comprehensive test covers all skills tested by the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal, California Critical Thinking Skills Test, and Cornell Critical Thinking Test Level Z—plus 24 additional skills.
Form A can be used as a pretest. Test items include the same general thinking skills (see contents), but not the same specific thinking skills. Additional items include necessary and sufficient conditions and more emphasis on informal fallacies and unstated premises/conclusions than any other nationally available test.
Form A is a 55-item, 50-minute test that can be administered online/over a network or on a stand-alone computer.
Important Notes: This is a NETWORK version software and not recommended for home-use. The software must be installed and configured on a Windows server and then can be accessed locally or via your network on any client computer's browser.
50 Test License Includes: One server CD-Rom with the right to use across a network for up to 50 tests, 1 year Platinum Technical Support, and a 60 day money-back guarantee.
