This is really an excellent book. The repetition of one topic is just right to reinforce the concept, and the practice pages are solid.

We purchased Language Smarts™ Level B for our homeschooled first grade child. Truth be told, I was scared to teach grammar as it has been years since learned it myself. Upon opening the book, I felt at ease instantly. The explanations were short and precise and the examples were helpful. My daughter loved the book so much that she wanted to do her homework! It helped that the book was colorful with nice illustrations as well. Plus the pages are durable and thick—a nice quality.

We love Language Smarts! It is colorful, fun, and effective. It makes language arts much more fun for them, and I know they are getting a thorough curriculum.

It was easy to use and instructions were very easy for students to follow independently. All of the skills covered in our standardized tests were covered in this book.

At the same time it is teaching language skills, it teaches the student how to think and analyze.

The kids must use what they have learned to demonstrate further problem solving skills and this is what, in my opinion, makes this product a step above other language arts a programs out there.

I love that I can simply hand her the book without preparation and generally she can do the lessons without needing assistance from me.
