An excellent resource for teaching students how to apply grammar skills in context. My son's language arts scores soared on standardized tests after doing this series. Editor in Chief is an all-inclusive program.

Great for really 'cementing' what was previously only theoretical knowledge of spelling, grammar, and usage.
The written material your student will be editing is itself educational, and the program is easy to use."

This program does so much more than edit errors. It teaches and demonstrates the specific content by offering immediate feedback.

Editor in Chief provides thorough, effective and compelling practice in this vital, often overlooked aspect of the writing process. Each of my students enjoys the experience and is willing and eager to continue practicing.

The low readability allows the student to focus better on the [punctuation] skills rather than just decoding the story.

I 'have been using The Critical Thinking Company materials for 17 years. We home educate our sons and these books are an important part of our curriculum. Our 1st son is an honor student at the University, and our 2nd son, a senior in high school, just scored a perfect 800 on the critical reading section of the SAT. He says, 'After all of those Editor in Chief books, how could I not do well, mom!' Thanks Critical Thinking Co.!

When my daughter was 13, I began using the Editor in Chief® series as part of our homeschool curriculum. She enjoyed the challenge of looking for errors even if at times she became frustrated that she missed a few--only to go back and look harder until she found them! These skills have helped her to express her thoughts well throughout high school and college. Now 20, she was approached by the dean of students at her university and asked if she would be interested in being the senior editor for the school newspaper! She immediately jumped at the chance! This is a paid position complete with an office, a budget, photographers, writers, layouts, printers, etc. She now has truly become an 'Editor in Chief.' Thank you!

I am a certified teacher in math and history. I homeschool my 13-year-old niece, and I was looking for curriculum materials in language arts. Thanks to a friend, I was introduced to your products, and we now use the Editor in Chief® series. She looks forward to her grammar sessions instead of dreading the boring drills in their previous books.
