My homeschool son is loving this bookMy homeschool son is loving this book for his 6th grade math curriculum. Every page is full of color that engages him a variety of mathematical and logic problems. The worksheets not only teach math concepts, but how math is applied to life, like today we counted our breaths to calculate how many we take in a given period of time. The pages are rarely dull sheets of just math problems. Many have incorporated Science facts and logic problems. Itās working better and is a lot more engaging than any other math curriculum weāve tried. To add fun and increase his speed in doing math, he gives me a problem from the book and we each work it, racing to finish first. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone dissatisfied with their current curriculum.

N/ALast year I struggled with my daughter's math. She never complained about school work, except when it came time for math. We were using the same math program we have always used so I wanted to stick with it. It ended up discouraging her so I spent this past summer seeking out something that was high quality, yet a different approach to what I had been using. A friend showed me your Mathematical Reasoningā¢ books and I gave them a try. We are now halfway through this current school year and the difference is night and day. What was like 'pulling teeth' is now fun to her and she can concretely see and express how useful math is to her in her daily life.

N/AAs a teacher I like the problem solving activities as these could be used over again or with several students in the classroom.

N/AAs a math instructor, I am so happy that it looks like I may have a math-brain in my family after all! He asks to do his math school work (<em>Mathematical Reasoning</em> book) every day!

N/A<em>Mathematical Reasoning</em> presents math in a way that makes it not only simple to learn, but also practical to apply to everyday circumstance (obviously making math more meaningful to him).

N/AIt has been so good for her because it requires her to think! Sometimes she would get frustrated, but the material was engaging and it kept her motivated to try and figure it out.

N/AI really like that there is a lot of life application, logic and critical thinking sprinkled throughout the book. Lessons do not appear overwhelming or take hours to complete. In fact, most pages take just a few minutes to complete. There is a lot of colorful visual appeal as well, without appearing too childish for these upper elementary kids.

N/AWe have truly enjoyed using this book. We started out by just using it once a week but my daughter begged for more! How can I turn down a child begging for Math!?! We are now using it daily and I can see the improvement in her math.
